Welcome May

Yesterday was a picnic in the park type of Sunday.  I think traveling to different parks will just be our Sunday drive/outing :)  When we got up in the morning I told Jade, I was so excited because it was adventure day.  When we were leaving for church Jade opened the front door to p o u r i n g rain.  We didn't even hear it in the apartment!  I said, well...nevermind! We grabbed our umbrella and dashed to church.  When we came outside from church it was partly cloudy and SUNSHINE!!  So I was back to  saying we must get outside today :)

We brought a full dinner and a blanket to lay on to Morrisville Community Park.  Unfortunately the ground was very much still soaked from our handful of downpour storms we had this week and this morning, so we opted to sit at the picnic tables.  

The single guys came over also.  It was good conversation and never-ending jokes.  The guys made their own game with the frisbee.  

 There was a path to walk around the park so Jade and I did that when the boys had to go in time to get to the CES devotional.  It is so beautiful here.  But there are definitely mosquitos and other flying insects I am not familiar with that I'm always dashing from.
