we've been a little tired over here lately...
With the Mr. going to school and being diligent in his studies and assignments we have been staying up later - especially this week. I'm not a night person so usually I'll go wash my face (with my FAVORITE new skin care...results will be posted next month), brush my toothies, and put those annoying retainers in my mouth. This is the sign to the Mr. that I'm tired and not able to focus on what I'm working on anymore. We have been really good with scripture reading every night and saying our prayer before laying our heads on our pillows. However, two days ago, I woke up at 3:40 am with our lights still on, phones not plugged in, teeth not brushed. I really didn't want to get out of bed to turn off the lights but it was obvious the light woke me up, eventually. As I got out of bed, I accidentally disturbed the Mr, flicked the light off, plugged the phones in, and groaned as Jade said "wait, we have to read at least one verse." I threw him the phone and grumbled. Didn't really listen to what he was saying as he read the verse, plugged the phone back in, and crawled back into bed. BOOM fast asleep. In the morning we kind of asked each other what happened last night. It was a mystery how we fell asleep with the light on. This morning I woke up again...this time at 6:56 am with our lights on. I did the same thing as the night before...disturbed the Mr, groaned, and whined that the phone light was too bright when he wanted to read at least one verse, etc. This is a bad weird habit we are starting to develop from these past two nights.
So please help us. What is a good routine (I'm all about this :)) for night time? To make sure you go to bed at a decent hour, are not too tired to wash your face + toothies + prayers, etc? Also morning routines. I know working out in the mornings make me feel alert and ready to conquer the day, but I have no motivation.
